Marie Ostrosky is a Senior Television Producer, Media Consultant, Private Chef, Food Stylist, Culinary Instructor and Cookbook Author, with more than twenty years of expertise in the production, entertainment and lifestyle industry. Marie’s unique career began after many years in the music recording industry led to her true passion – capturing the power of food and its influence. She is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City with a Professional Culinary degree.
Immediately upon graduating from culinary school, she worked as a private chef for celebrity clientele including Sting, Tom and Rita Hanks, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna.
Simultaneously, Marie operated a New York City catering business, creating many one of a kind affairs ranging from a Manhattan Penthouse New Year's Eve gathering to a Hampton Classic Horse Show Wedding
Marie's path then led her to the kitchens of Food Network. As a Chef, a Food Stylist and then a Producer at the Food Network for more than 15 years, Marie was at the forefront of cooking shows as entertainment. She was part of the team that created and developed original, Emmy nominated Food Network programming such as Emeril Live!, Essence of Emeril, Molto Mario, Ready, Set, Cook, Simply Delicioso, Cooking Live with Sara Moulton, and Grillin & Chillin with Bobby Flay.
Marie also worked as a Culinary Producer for other network Emmy Award winning daytime shows including Martha Stewart Living, The NBC Today Show, The CBS Morning Show, the History Channel and The Discovery Network.
Recently, Marie finished production of Kitchen Boss with Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, Hungry Brothers for TLC and Restaurant Redemption for the Cooking Channel. She has also been involved in food styling and web video production for companies such as Perdue Chicken, Fire and Flavor Grilling Company the Georgia Peach Council, McCormick Spices, and the United States White House, as well as television commercial work for Wendy's and Jenny-O Turkey.
Marie lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband Chris.
